The expansion comes at a time of exponential growth at Redgrave Data. Since launching in January 2022, demand for its custom software and project management solutions has quadrupled and the company has taken on some of the world’s largest tech companies as clients while expanding its team and creating new opportunities in the legal tech space.

The Redgrave Data team now has two of the top data scientists in the industry, including Pickens, who will join the team this month, and Dave Lewis, the company’s chief scientific officer. The Redgrave Data team is led by co-founder Mollie Nichols; the other co-founders include Lewis, Scott Culbertson, Mark Noel, and Lindsey Worth.

Pickens is one of the world’s leading information retrieval scientists and a pioneer in the fields of collaborative exploratory search and technology assisted review with eleven patents and patents pending in the field of search and information retrieval. He will lead research and development projects in machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, human-computer interface design, and other areas of computer science and artificial intelligence.

Mark Noel Announced to Speak at Legalweek 2023

Amid the continued momentum and the company’s increased visibility in the industry, Redgrave Data’s chief information and technology officer, Mark Noel, will be speaking at Legalweek 2023. Noel will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Compliance: Is Artificial Intelligence the Answer? The Experts Debate” on Thursday, March 23. Legalweek, one of the most important and widely attended annual events in the legal industry, takes place at The New York Hilton Midtown from March 20 to March 23. New Team Members Support Growth

In addition to hiring Pickens, Redgrave Data has brought on several new team members since late 2022 to sustain its rapid growth. In Q4 2022, the company welcomed Lenora Gray, ACP, VARP, to Redgrave Data as a data scientist and France Jaffe as a senior consultant. In January 2023, Amy Totten joined the company as a senior project manager and Wilzette Louis as director of client solutions. More recently, Redgrave Data introduced a new Marketing Manager, Rees Crosby.
