Benton's 30-year career in technology spans industries including virtual reality, healthcare, and law. His extensive cloud expertise enables the construction of scalable, stable software systems that deliver long-term business value. He has two decades of experience designing, building, and managing secure cloud operations, including identifying and developing solutions for the hosting of sensitive personal information. Benton's work at Redgrave Data includes collaborating with Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) to build prototypes, applications, and solutions in the legal technology space. These processes include machine learning-based document understanding pipelines, contract analysis tools, and custom applications for the widespread comparison of documents in mass litigation and copyright infringement settings. Benton focuses on creating high-quality applications for clients that are more efficient, effective, and economical than commercial eDiscovery and Information Governance offerings.

Prior to joining Redgrave Data, Benton served as a Senior Software Engineer at Hogan Lovells and was the Principal Staff Cloud Engineer at Medidata Solutions. His experience also includes serving in operations solutions roles at various technology organizations.

Benton attended Dartmouth College, where he studied Computer Science, and Columbia University, where he studied Mathematics.
